The cartridge allows for shooting training with firearms without the use of live ammunition. It can be used to improve your skills by practicing with an electronic laser target, which is our proprietary Smart Target solution. The mentioned target set combined with the cartridge creates an excellent shooting trainer. By using this type of cartridge, you can safely train outside of a shooting range. How to Use the Laser Cartridge?
The cartridge is designed for use in firearms. During training, the cartridge is placed in the firearm's chamber. Thanks to the rubber O-rings, the cartridge does not move inside the chamber and ensures a stable direction of the laser beam. The laser cartridge remains in the chamber during reloading because it does not have a rim. Additionally, when practicing with a hammer-fired gun, there is no need to reload the firearm to take the next shot. See the laser cartridge in action.
How Does the Laser Cartridge Work?
At the front of the cartridge, there is an opening for the laser beam. The rear part consists of a rubber tip designed to absorb the impact of the firing pin. When the shot is fired, the firing pin strikes the back of the cartridge, causing it to emit a laser pulse for a brief moment. The red laser shines towards the muzzle. The laser beam is visible on the target at the moment of firing. Additional Information
The rubber tip of the cartridge is a part that naturally wears out during the use of the product. The lifespan of the rubber tip depends on the intensity of usage and the specific firearm model (length of the firing pin, impact force). According to internal tests by Smart Target Sp. z o.o., the rubber tip of the cartridge allows for up to 1,000 shots under normal usage conditions. The tip is a replaceable component and can be purchased separately.
