In the case of a very dirty barrel, after using our Barrel Foam and then rinsing it with Gun Cleaner or Care Spray, it’s worth cleaning the barrel with the snake at least twice.
This will help remove dirt residue and dry the barrel from the cleaning agent, especially if we don’t have any patches on hand.
Always insert the snake from the chamber and pull it towards the muzzle of the barrel. The snake should always be pulled straight out of the barrel. Pulling at an angle can damage the crown of the barrel.
The Riflecx snake has the ability to connect the end and the beginning of the snake—this significantly speeds up the process of multiple barrel cleanings.
