In the case of a heavily soiled barrel, after using our Barrel Foam and subsequently rinsing it with Gun Cleaner or Care Spray, it is advisable to clean the barrel with the cord at least twice.
This will help remove any remaining dirt and dry the barrel from the cleaner, especially if you don’t have any patches on hand.
Always insert the cord from the chamber and pull it towards the muzzle. The cord should always be pulled straight out of the barrel. Pulling at an angle can damage the crown of the barrel.
The Riflecx cord has the option to connect the end and the beginning of the cord, which significantly speeds up the multiple cleanings of the barrel.
