The primary task of the laser target is to detect and confirm hits of the laser light in the selected working area. A series of settings allows you to configure:
- the size of the working area,
- the form of hit confirmation,
- the sensitivity of the sensors,
- the volume of sound signals,
- the number of shots when measuring splits,
- the time range from which time delays are randomly selected, e.g., for exercises measuring reaction time,
- New feature: doubles; when this option is enabled, two hits are treated as a single hit – ideal for IPSC training.
There are 9 available programs:
- Basic – detecting laser hits in the configured working area.
- Focus – counting and final presentation of the hit locations of 10 accurate shots.
- Focus and Time – counting and final presentation of the hit locations of 10 accurate shots and the time from the first hit to the last.
- Reaction Time – detecting laser hits in the working area along with measuring the time it takes to hit the target, measured from the device's readiness signal.
- Looped Reaction Time – detecting laser hits in the working area along with measuring the time it takes to hit the target, measured from the device's readiness signal without the need to trigger additional readiness signals.
- Looped Reaction Time with Randomization – detecting laser hits in a randomly selected working area by the device, along with measuring the time it takes to hit the target, measured from the device's readiness signal without the need to trigger additional readiness signals.
- Time Between Two Shots – detecting laser hits in the working area along with measuring the time between two consecutive hits on the target.
- Splits – measuring the time from the sound signal to the delivery of the required number of accurate shots in the working area, with the possibility of reviewing individual splits.
- Random Targets – shooting at randomly selected working areas by the device while measuring the average time for 10 hits.
